The Power of Play (PoP) Project
The aim of the PoP Project is to ensure that all children who have experienced trauma have access to timely, developmentally appropriate mental health support—regardless of their financial circumstances.

By funding blocks of Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) via a PoP Package, we will:
-
Break the cycle of untreated childhood trauma
-
Strengthen family relationships and resilience
-
Reduce long-term mental health risks
-
Create ripple effects that lead to stronger, more connected communities
Ultimately, the PoP Project seeks to embed CCPT as a standard, accessible intervention across South Australia and beyond—so that no child is left to suffer in silence, and every child has the chance to heal, grow, and thrive.

Each PoP Package consists of:
1 parent/carer intake
20 play therapy sessions
3 parent/carer update sessions

All sessions will be with an Approved Provider (aka a Registered Play Therapist) with extensive training and experience in Child-Centered Play Therapy.
